It is with great pleasure that we announce our annual scholarship opportunities for high school seniors.
The Tom Nunn Memorial Scholarship honors the memory of Mr. Tom Nunn, a late Director who established a reputation of excellence in both his work and service to his community. Northwest Georgia Credit Union will present a $1,000.00 scholarship to the student who best demonstrates the same commitment to excellence in his or her academic studies, service, and involvement in the community.
The Progressive Leader Scholarship was created to honor the pioneering spirit of leaders before us in the credit union industry. Thanks to these leaders, Northwest Georgia Credit Union is able to offer a fresh “people helping people” approach to money, with emphasis placed on your financial health, not your potential profitability. This $1,000.00 essay-based scholarship honors the entrepreneurial, progressive student leader who believes in their cause and makes it happen.
Applications can be printed below or you can pick them up at either NWGACU office. The deadline for applications is Friday, April, 16, 2010. There will be one winner per scholarship. Apply today and give your education fund a boost!
