Becomes Official ATM Sponsor of Rome Braves

ROME, GEORGIA, April 9, 2008—Northwest Georgia Credit Union is announcing the opening of a new ATM located at State Mutual Stadium, making NWGACU the official ATM sponsor of the Rome Braves. 

Michael Dunn, General Manager for the Rome Braves, is “thrilled to partner with Northwest Georgia Credit Union to provide another ATM;  it is an asset to the community and one of the great services we can provide to all.”
Northwest Georgia Credit Union President, Cheryl Huffman is “glad to have a 3rd ATM in such a great location to serve our members, but [I’m] even more excited to partner with such a great community organization like the Rome Braves.”
This is NWGACU’s 3rd ATM and is up and running next to the ticket window outside the stadium. This ATM will serve fans of the Rome Braves as well as people passing by on Loop 1 year round. For Northwest Georgia Credit Union members and credit union members that are part of the CO-OP Network of ATMs, this ATM will be surcharge-free. The fee for non-members will be $1.50.

Northwest Georgia Credit Union is a not-for-profit financial institution owned by its members and was founded in 1961 to serve local educators. NWGACU has since expanded and membership is offered as an employee benefit for about 100 organizations in Rome and Floyd County.
