Northwest Georgia Credit Union wants to be your credit union, and we would love to serve you. In order to qualify for the benefits of NWGACU membership, you must be employed by one of our Sponsor Employee Groups. Sponsor Employee Groups are businesses and organizations that have partnered with NWGACU to provide membership to employees and their immediate family or household members. NWGACU serves approximately 100 employee groups in the Greater Rome area. If you are unsure whether your employer offers membership, check our listing. If your employer does not offer it, express your interest and ask them to contact the credit union!

To join NWGACU, simply stop by one of our offices to complete a short form, open your accounts, and deposit at least $25.00 into your new share (savings account). As soon as you deposit $25.00, you have full, free access to all of our services. Maintaining that $25.00 also ensures that you are a member for life, even if you move or change jobs. You will also need to bring your government-issued picture ID ( e.g. driver’s license, military ID) and your social security card.
